Barbara Sue Alcorn

Barbara Sue Alcorn, 61, of Tuckerman, Ark. passed away peacefully at her home February 12, 2015. Barbara was born in Newport, Ark. on April 11, 1953. She was a lifelong resident of Tuckerman. Her memories will be forever lasting to her many friends and family. She worked for Armstrong Insurance in Tuckerman for 20 years before she retired early due to illness. Barbara loved her job and worked hard as long as she could. She also enjoyed cooking, traveling, and deeply loved her family and friends. Barbara was of the Baptist Faith and attended when she could. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; D.B. and Ona Bradley. Barbara is survived by her husband; Bobby Alcorn of the home, and by her son; William Shannon Sullivan and wife Keisha of Osceola, two granddaughters; Abigail Sullivan and Ashley Sullivan of Osceola, two stepsons; Robert S. Alcorn, Jr., and James Alcorn both of Jonesboro, one brother; Rickey Bradley (Verla) of Swifton, three sisters; Linda Worthington (Doug) of Ash Flat, Carol Hagar of Augusta, Carolyn Rogers (Larry) of Jonesboro, and many nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, February 14, 2015 at Dillinger Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in Gracelawn Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday, February 13, 2015.
