Noble Quitman Starkey

Noble Quitman Starkey, age 86, of Morrilton, passed away Thursday, February 12, 2015. He was born January 11, 1929 in Center Ridge, Arkansas, a son of Daniel Webster Starkey and Mattie Louise Hardin Starkey. He was retired from Coca Cola Bottling Company and a member of Harding Street Church of Christ. He is survived by his daughter, Peggy Clowers of Morrilton; granddaughters, Debbie Flowers and husband Greg of Morrilton and Sharla Crofford and husband Kerry of Springfield; and great grandchildren, Jackson and Montana Flowers of Morrilton. He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 59 years, Nella Dean Kissire Starkey; six sisters, Ella Starkey, Leva Goode, Grace Edwards, Lora Barnett, Bertha Hendrix and Chloe Starkey; and two brothers, Barney Starkey and William Starkey. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, February 14, at the Harris Chapel with Mr. Charles Bane officiating. Burial will be at Grandview Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton.
