Gary R. Barrentine

Gary R. Barrentine, Sr., 61, passed into the arms of Jesus on Friday, Feb. 20, 2015, at Baptist Hospital Springhill. Gary was born on February 22, 1953 to Wilbur and Pauline Barrentine, who preceded him to Heaven. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Teresa Hayes Barrentine; three children, Noelle Mackey (Bradford),Gary, Jr., and Heath Barrentine; one granddaughter, Camdyn Mackey; one sister, Becky Tackett; his Brother-in-Law Tommy Hayes (Jackie); his Mother in law Patricia Williams (Leonard); his nephews Kolby and Kris, his nieces Christina and Katherine, and many friends. Gary was a Master Plumber for the Little Rock School District and a member of Sherwood First Baptist Church. Funeral services will be Thursday, 1 p.m., February 26th at Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation and reception will be from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
