Viola Jackson Miley, 88, of North Little Rock, passed away Monday, February 23, 2015. She was born on June 12, 1926 in Sikeston, Missouri to George W. and Onie M. Darr. Viola was a banker and a bookkeeper by profession and co-owner of Boots Miley Minnow Farm and a proud member of the DAR. She was of the Methodist faith and a graduate of Draughn's Business School. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Fred Jackson and her second husband, "Boots" Miley. She is survived by two daughters, Sharon Fortson (Bill) of North Little Rock and Reba Guynes (Randy) of Bryant; three grandchildren, Brian Fortson (Angela), Dallas Green (Artie), Eric Fortson (Erika); and eight great-grandchildren, Lucas, Melanie, Sydney, Corley, Emma, Eli, Piper, and Tyler. The family wishes to extend a special thank-you to the caregivers at Parkway Health Care for all their excellent loving care. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of your choice. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, February 26, 2015, at Roller-Owens Funeral Home Chapel, 5509 John F. Kennedy Blvd., North Little Rock, Arkansas (501-791-7400), with Reverend Brittany Watson officiating.
