Herb Stuart, 68 of Conway, entered into the presence of his Lord and Savior on Sunday, January 4, 2015. He was born December 27, 1946 in Pontotoc, Miss. Mr. Stuart was a member of Conway's First Baptist Church and retired after 33 plus years from Union Pacific Railroad. Herb was passionate about the Word of God and it's transforming power in people's lives. He understood God's grace and extended it to everyone he came into contact with. He has left behind a legacy of faith in the one true God. Herb was a faithful husband, father, friend and leader for his family. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and playing golf. He is preceded in death by his father: Carl Stuart and father-in-law and mother-in-law: Earple and Lavohn Farley. Survivors include his loving wife of 46 years: Barbara Farley Stuart of the home, three sons: Eric Stuart (Becke`) of Conway, Lee Stuart (Kelli) of Tampa, Fla., Zach Stuart of Hot Springs, mother: Rachel Stuart of Conway, brother: Jeff Stuart (Brenda) of Buchanan Dam, Texas, brother-in-law and sister-in-law: Darrell and Billie Jean Farley of Conway, eight grandchildren: Cade, Eli, Sloan, Sam, Tia, Landon, Asher and Annika, several nieces, nephews, family and friends. A visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at Conway's First Baptist Church. Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at the church with interment to follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to Conway's First Baptist Church.
