Maurine K. Higgenbottom Bramlett Holleman

Maurine K. Higginbottom Bramlett Holleman, born September 11, 1910 at Sitka, Arkansas, passed away on January 7, 2015 at the age of 104. Maurine was preceded in death by her parents, six sisters, one brother and two husbands, H.S. Bramlett and Claude Holleman. She is survived by daughters, Margaret Jones, Mary Ann Gordon, Anita McFadden, Patsy Womble Walters, Sarah June Howard and a sister, Hazel Dene Flinn, 15 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Holleman was a life long member of the Church of Christ and set a great example of Christian living for over 90 years. She took great pride in her looks and was always dressed appropriately. She won the Crestpark Nursing home beauty contest in 2010 at the age of 100. Maurine was a hard worker, spending her early life farming with her husband and father of their five daughters, Howard Bramlett. The Bramlett family won the Arkansas Farm Family of the year in 1952. The family expresses appreciation to Doctor Burks, Crestpark Nursing Home and Cross Ridge Hospital for their outstanding professional care. Memorials may be sent to the Paragould Children's Home or the Wynne Church of Christ.
