PATSY HODGES, a lifelong resident of North Little Rock, was born Sept. 16, 1931 and passed away on Jan. 8, 2015 at Baptist Health Medical Center in North Little Rock. Patsy had worked as a volunteer at Baptist for 13 years. She and Walter enjoyed camping and traveling. She worked for Farm Bureau for 27 years and retired in 1994. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran in North Little Rock and sang in the church choir and with the Sweet Adelines. One of her favorite hobbies was bird watching and she spent many hours feeding them in her back yard. She is preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Walter Hodges, and survived by her daughters Deborah Toland (Jim) of Bentonville; Lisa Akins (Russ) of Fayetteville, Tenn.; and Toni Rose (Brian) of Scott; as well as her sister, Connie Glover of Cabot; and grandchildren Marc, Mikel and Nick Toland, Ryan Akins, Sarah Shehane, Hunter and Lauren Boatman and nine great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Monday, Jan. 12, 2015 from 9-10:30 a.m. at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home, 7724 Landers Road in North Little Rock followed by a graveside service at 11 a.m. in Rest Hills Memorial Park.
