Ralph Clifford Crenshaw

Ralph Clifford Crenshaw, 78, passed away Thursday, Jan. 8, 2015. Born April 6, 1936, he was the son of Henry and Gladys Bernard Crenshaw. A retired pipeliner, farmer, diesel mechanic and teacher, Ralph enjoyed his free time restoring John Deere tractors and telling stories to anyone with time to listen. He was a lover of people. His admirable warmth and strength left an extraordinary impact on his family and friends. Ralph is survived by his wife of 30 years, Donna Crenshaw; along with three children, LaDonna and Gerry Gibson of Russell, John and Carla Crenshaw of Fayetteville, N.C., Stephen and Katy Crenshaw of Jacksonville, Fla.; three step-children, Rod Hatchell of Redmond, Ore., Randy Hatchell of Hot Springs and Monique Hatchell of Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.; 12 grandchildren, Angela Gibson, Jennifer Gibson, Elizabeth Crenshaw, Jake Crenshaw, Michael Crenshaw, Joseph Crenshaw, Miranda Bartell, Stephanie Perry, Ian Hatchell, Zak Hatchell, Madison Hatchell, Trevor Most; eight great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews and relatives. Ralph is preceded in death by his wife, Sarah Ettarene Crenshaw; his parents, Henry Thomas Crenshaw and Gladys Marie Coffman; sister, Lucille Little and a brother, Bill Crenshaw. Visitation will be held Sunday, Jan. 11, 2015 from 3-5 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, Jan. 12 at 2 p.m. at the Powell Funeral Home Chapel in Bald Knob, with Rev. Bonda Moyer officiating. Interment will follow in Carter Cemetery. Memorial may be made to The American Caner Society or to the Bald Knob Fine Arts Council, PO Box 531, Bald Knob, AR 72010.
