Mary Katherine "Maw" Dalsis

Mary Katherine "Maw" Dalsis, 84, died Saturday, Jan. 10, 215 at Dermott City Nursing. Mrs. Dalsis was born May 20, 1930 in Gravelly, Ark. a daughter of the late Jesse and Lurie Effie Irons Humphreys. She retired from Burlington Industries in Monticello, Ark. Mrs. Dalsis was a member of Cominto Baptist Church. "Maw" loved to cook, can vegetables, fish and work in the garden. She also loved flowers. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Louis "Pop" Dalsis. Survivors include her son, Charles Dalsis Jr. of Collins, Ark.; brother, Clemoth Humphreys of McGehee, Ark.; grandchildren, Carlton Dalsis and his wife, Glenda of Dermott, Ark. and Darian Dalsis Sr. and his wife, Crystal of Collins, Ark.; great-grandchildren, Cody Dalsis and Elizabeth Dalsis, both of McGehee, Ark., Darian Dalsis Jr. and Dylan Dalsis, both of Collins, Ark. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 12, 2015 at Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service in McGehee, Ark. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2015 at Cominto Baptist Church.
