Dorothy Belle Gates

Dorothy Belle Gates, age 82, of Hazen, died Monday, January 12, 2015. She was born July 9, 1932 in Prairie County, the daughter of Sherman and Odell Webb. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Gates; daughter, Linda Darlene Boothe, and sister, Arva Jean Robinson. She is survived by one son, Carlos Gates of Hazen; four grandchildren, Danny Boothe, Tina Gladish, Cyle Gates and Craig Gates and six great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at Westbrook Funeral Home in Hazen. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Thursday, January 15, at the Center Point Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Center Point Cemetery. Online obituary at www.westbrookfuneralhomehazen.com.
