Leonard V. Jacobs

Leonard V. Jacobs, 100, died on January 11, 2015 in Rogers. He was born on July 9, 1914 in Newton, Iowa to the late Charles and Emma (Lenz) Jacobs. He was the husband of the late Helen D. (Antle) Jacobs. Mr. Jacobs loved woodworking and built his own home with wood from the sawmill he owned for many years. He was also a talented chef and worked in Chuck's Restaurant in Demoine, Iowa. He is survived by his sister, Frances Leonardo of Illinois. He is preceded in death by his 2 brothers, Bertrum and Delbert Jacobs. Private services will be conducted at a later date and are under the care of Rollins Funeral Home.
