Douglas Lee Petree

Douglas Lee Petree, 62, of Goodman, Mo and longtime resident of Bentonville, passed away Sunday, January 11. He was born to the late Ormal W. and Willie Hukill Petree on February 21, 1952 in Hepzibah, Georgia and for nearly 44 years was the loving husband of Linda Stokes Petree who survives. He enjoyed being on his farm and working with his horses, but loved spending time with his family. For more than 28 years he was a truck driver for Walmart. Survivors include his wife Linda of the home; his mother, Willie Petree of Rogers, Ark., brother Richard Petree of Rogers, Ark.; two daughters, Doddie Bond and husband Jody of Anderson, Mo. and Misty Sutherland of Rogers, four grandchildren, Austin, Ashton, Kinlee and Triston. Visitation will be Sunday, from 2-4 p.m. and the Funeral Service will be Monday at 10:00am in the Chapel of Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers with interment to follow in Walnut Hill Cemetery near Garfield.
