Marion T. "Ace" Moler

MARION T. "ACE" MOLER, 92, my dad and best friend, passed away Saturday night, Jan. 10, 2015. He was born Dec. 3, 1922 to Herbert G and Josie Ethel Cole Moler in Illinois. Ace joined the army during WWII and was awarded a Purple Heart for wounds sustained in combat. Shortly after the war, he married Dollye L. Lovell, who passed away in 1973. Ace worked as a brick mason until his retirement. He was preceded in death by his eldest son, Eddie Troutte. He is survived by a daughter, Nina L. Moler of Little Rock; a brother, Richard Glen Moler of Georgetown; daughters-in-law, Connie and Carolyn; four grandsons; many great-grandchildren; nephews and nieces and me, Dean T. Moler of Jacksonville. Cremation arrangements are being handled by Roller-Owens Funeral Home, North Little Rock, Ark. (501-791-7400). Private family burial will be at a later date.
