Franky Joe Persons

Franky Joe Persons, 74 of Orland Park, Illinois, formerly of Lincoln County, Arkansas passed away January 15, 2015. He was born July 18, 1940, the son of Willie Harvey Persons and Nancy Eva Thomas Persons. His parents, and two sons, Edward Wayne Persons and Franky Joe Persons Jr. and one brother, Billy Ray Persons preceded him in death. Mr. Persons was a member of Hickory Creek Christian Church in Frankfort, Illinois, he retired from 40 + years in construction and maintenance, he later worked in security. Survivors are his wife, Jean Persons of Orland Park, Illinois and two daughters, Julie Kreuz of Frankfort, Illinois and Sherri Havens of Ivanhoe, Texas, three brothers, Floyd Persons, Harold Persons both of Dumas and Travis Persons of Whitehall, two sisters, Loice Smith and Wanda Mankin both of Dumas, eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren and numerous nephews and nieces. Visitation held from 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday, January 20, at Griffin Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at Dark Corner Christian Church, with Rev.
