Lucy Stephen Masingill

Lucy Stephen Loyd Masingill, 93, of Old Hickory, died at home on January 18, 2015 with her family at her side. Lucy was born April 28, 1921 the daughter of James Henry and Mary Kennemer Loyd. She is survived by her husband of 71 years Cleo Masingill of Old Hickory, they married on September 16, 1943 and had five children, Rebecca West (Benny) of Lanty, Diane Grenier (Gary) of Colorado, Karen Davidson (Charlie) of Benton, Mary Gregory (Cliff) of Old Hickory, and Stephen Masingill of Old Hickory; she was blessed with ten grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. Her favorite things to do were fishing, gardening and playing with her grandchildren. Lucy's family would like to thank Dr. Robert Wilkerson for the wonderful care and Arkansas Hospice. The family would also like to thank Lucy's special caregivers, Carrie Cook, Debbie Copeland, Vicki Knapp, Pat Hart, Gayle Carlon and Suzie Stone. Funeral Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday January 21, at Old Hickory Baptist Church with Bro. Johnny Hoffman and Bro. Ken Gipson officiating. Burial will be at Old Hickory Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, January 20, at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Matt Gregory, Scott Davidson, Greg Davidson, Michael West, Jordan Farner and Colton Davidson. Honorary Pallbearers will be Wendell Edwards, Clarence Michael Edwards, James Ray Edwards, Larry Martin, Loyd Martin, Butch Martin, Randy Voss and Seth Hall.
