L.W. Weise

L.W. Weise, age 94, of Scott, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, January 20, 2015. He was born April 16, 1920 in Little Rock to Willie and Alice Weise. He was a member of All Souls Church in Scott for more than 35 years. He worked 40 years for Russell Chevrolet (formerly Critz). His passion was gardening, woodworking, and helping others. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Billie Jean Weise, and siblings, Kathleen Schmidt, Ann Agee, Bobby Weise, and Dorothy Hoffmon. He is survived by his brother, David Weise of Little Rock; his children, Stephen Weise of Hensley, Arkansas, Sandra Goodwin of Little Rock, Cynthia Bowling of Vilonia, and Carolyn Streich of Show Low, Arizona; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Saturday, January 24, from 3 to 5 p.m. at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills, 7724 Landers Road, North Little Rock. Funeral services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills.
