Douglas K. Lewis

Douglas K. Lewis, 60, passed away on Jan. 20, 2015 after a prolonged illness. Doug lived in Wichita, Kan. all his life, retiring as parts manager at Honeywell in 1993. He was inducted into the Southwest Tornado Table Soccer Hall of Fame in 1996 after a stellar career of foosball competition. He was also responsible for photographing national foosball tournaments. Doug enjoyed all varieties of motor sports and will be dearly missed by his many friends and family. He is survived by daughters, Abigaile Lewis and Haleigh Lewis both of Wichita; brothers, Mike (Marjie) Lewis of Bentonville, Ark., Mark (Danita) Lewis of Wichita and sister, Kit Lewis of Burnsville, Minn., as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews, who all "looked up" to Doug. Memorial service will be held 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 26 at Lakeview Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in memory of Douglas Lewis to the local chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, 110 East Waterman Street, Suite 150, Wichita, KS 67202.
