Eva Lena Barentine

Eva Lena Barentine, 77, of El Dorado, passed away, Monday, January 26, 2015, at the John R. Williamson Hospice House. She was born March 24, 1937, to Roscoe Taft and Viola Crawford Morehart in Little Rock, Ark. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and was a Legal Secretary, owner of Comfort Air, and Homemaker. Eva was a member of the Athena Book Club and an avid Bridge player. Preceding her in death are her parents; and brother, Glynn Morehart. Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Doyle Barentine, two daughters, Robin Barentine Hays (Jeff Pendleton) of El Dorado, Gina Barentine DeBerry (Lee) of Batesville, Ark.; son, Tony Barentine (Misty) of Little Rock; sister, Betty Graham of Carrollton, Ga.; and six grandchildren, Charlie Hays (Fiancee, Cait Kimbrough) of Fayetteville, Ark., Clint Hays (Emily) of Little Rock, Zach Barentine (Hayden White) of Strong, Sawyer Barentine of Hampton, Ark., Jonathan DeBerry and Katie DeBerry both of Batesville, Ark. A memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, January 30, 2015, at the First Baptist Church with Dr. Lynn Worthen officiating. A reception for the family and friends will be held immediately following in the Christian Life Center. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the John R.
