MORRIS EUGENE HENDERSON, 90, of Little Rock passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2015. He was born Jan. 14, 1925 in Walnut Ridge, Ark. to the late James L. and Martha Bellah Henderson. Morris served in the United States Navy during World War II and returned to his native Arkansas to eventually have his own business, M.E. Henderson and Son Construction, Inc. He was a member of Levy Baptist Church at the time of demise and had also been an active member of Cedar Heights Baptist for many years. Morris is survived by his wife of 64 years and one month, Daisy L. Henderson; son, Orland Eugene Henderson (Sharon); two grandsons, Jason Robert Henderson (Vickie) and Joshua Kelly Henderson; great-granddaughter, Ashley Nichole Henderson; and two half sisters and one half brother. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers; two sisters; one half brother and many friends and former customers. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, July 7 at Smith–North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in AR State Veterans Cemetery.
