Doris Jean Kelly

Doris J. "Sissie" Kelly, 83, of North Little Rock, Ark. passed away July 8, 2015 at home surrounded by family. She was born June 8, 1932 in Mayflower, Ark. to the late George and Gertie Kelly. She graduated from Jacksonville High School and retired from the Little Rock School District with 31 years of service. She was an active member of Park View Baptist Church in NLR, Ark. since 1965. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Robert Dycus, Raymond Dycus; sisters, Pat Dodson, Peggie McMurtrey; niece, Reneé Howser; niece, Sue Davis. She is survived by her sister, Gwen Kelly; niece's husband Jim Howser; niece's sons, Matt Howser (Stephanie), Brian Howser (Carrie); niece's daughter Jacqueléne Koba (Ryan); nieces's grandchildren, Hunter Spradlin, Jordan Spradlin, Aubrey Howser, Judah Howser, Sadie Watts, Cash Atkinson, Landon Koba; and numerous cousins, nephews and nieces. Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Saturday, July 11, 2015 at Park View Baptist Church, 900 Donovan Briley Blvd. North Little Rock, Ark. 72118. Interment will follow at Rest Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday, July 10, at Roller-Owens Funeral Home, 5509 John F. Kennedy Blvd. North Little Rock, Ark. 72116 (501-791-7400).
