Frances Lindsey

Frances Lindsey, age 92, of Stamps, Arkansas, passed away Friday, July 10, 2015. Mrs. Lindsey was born October 26, 1922 in Buckner, Arkansas to Loyd and Effie Lewis. She was the oldest member of First United Methodist Church in Stamps where she served on the board for many years. Mrs. Lindsey owned and operated Lindsey Grocery in Stamps 42 years with her husband, Maurice. She was a second momma to numerous people and known and loved by many. Mrs. Lindsey was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Maurice Lindsey; and sister, Ruby Hartsfield. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Eades of Magnolia, Ark.; two sons, Ron Lindsey and wife, Sherry of Magnolia, Ark. and Robert Lindsey and wife, Donna of Sherwood, Ark.; five grandchildren, Don Jackson; Kristal McDonald and husband, Robert; Kim Barker and husband, Chris; Mandy Lindsey and husband, Rich and Stacy Lindsey and husband, Mike; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. uneral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 12, 2015 at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Stamps, Ark. with Rev. John Noggle officiating. Interment will follow at Lakeside Cemetery in Stamps. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Saturday, July 11, 2015 at the Smith Funeral Home in Stamps.
