Charles "Chuck" Raymond Stewart, Jr., 54, of Hot Springs, Ark., went to be with the Lord July 10, 2015. He was born July 21, 1960, in Monticello, Ark. to Charles "Ray" and Selma "Faye" (Sloan) Stewart. Chuck retired from the Arkansas Railroad and was a member of First Assembly of God Church, where he worked in the sound booth for 13 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family and grandkids and loved his dogs, Jasmine and Toby. Chuck also enjoyed hunting, fishing, the Arkansas Razorbacks, and the St. Louis Cardinals. He collected knives and coins and loved to travel. Survivors include his parents, Ray and Faye Stewart; his wife, Peggy Stewart; daughter, Melissa Suzanne Kelley (Jakori); son, Rodney Jason Stewart (Kristen); brother, Randy Stewart (Lori); sister, Judy Stewart; grandchildren: London Ray Stewart, Sloane Everly Stewart; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Monday at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home. Service will be 11 a.m., Tuesday at First Assembly of God Church in Hot Springs with Pastor Larry Burton officiating. Burial will be 3 p.m. at Resthaven Cemetery in Arkadelphia. Pallbearers include Keith Greenfield, Sammy Bartholomew, Matthias Elder, Nick Reed, Zachary Bland, and Joshua Greenfield. Honorary pallbearers will be Randall Bennett, David Meek, Gary Meek, Chris Majors, Mark Majors, and Lynn Stewart. Guests may register at www.caruth-hale.com.
