Kyle (Kyler) Wayne Moore

Kyle (Kyler) Wayne Moore, 42, passed away on July 10, 2015 after a short illness. Kyler was born on Aug. 30, 1972 in Little Rock to Kenneth and Ethelene Moore and was eagerly welcomed in the family by his older brother, Keith. At an early age, Kyler developed a quick wit, and he was always entertaining his family and friends with his humorous observations. Kyler attended church with his family, and he made a profession of faith in Jesus Christ and was baptized on Sept. 9, 1979, by Dr. W.O. Vaught, then pastor of Immanuel Baptist Church. At Immanuel, Kyler was a member of the Chapel Singers and participated in Royal Ambassadors. Kyler was graduated from Searcy High School in 1990. He was in the band and played both the clarinet and the oboe, and he was also the first male baton twirler Searcy High School had ever had. Kyler was also in the choir and was a member of the barbershop quartet. He was also involved in many stage productions at Searcy High School, Harding University's Summer Dinner Theater, and the Aegis program for the arts, where he was cast in the leading role of Tony in "West Side Story". Kyler was graduated from Arkansas Tech University in 1996 with a B.A. in speech communications and theater. In 2005, Kyler became a licensed massage therapist. Kyler had many passions in his life: music, drama, clowning, naturopathic methods of healing, and massage therapy. Though Kyler admittedly made wrong choices during his life, toward the end of his life he strongly reaffirmed his faith in Jesus Christ. Kyler was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Jesse and Ruth Moore and his maternal grandparents, Rev. Don and Ruby Hook. He is survived by his parents, Kenneth and Ethelene Moore; his brother, Keith Moore; and Dach, his beloved dachshund. The family would like to thank the physicians and staff, both of UAMS and In-Hospice at St. Vincent's. The family would also like to thank their friends and fellow believers around the country for their prayers and support during the last four months of Kyler's life. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens with the Reverend Don Cooper officiating. The family will receive friends at the graveside service. Arrangements were made by Roller-Chenal Funeral Home, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, AR 72211, (501) 224-8300. Online guestbook: www.rollerfuneralhomes.com/chenal.
