Barbara A Myles

Barbara A. Myles, 82 of Benton, went to be with her Lord on July 11, 2015. She was born June 14, 1933 in Augusta, Arkansas to the late Timon and Jewell Melton, Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Mallie Melton and a brother-in-law, Ples R. McCutcheon Jr. She is survived by one sister, Carol McCutcheon of Benton, one nephew, B. Todd McCutcheon of Little Rock and her best friend and caretaker, Alice Mejia. Early in life, Barbara traveled extensively both in the United States and abroad. In her later years, she was an avid reader and loved puzzles and playing games. Barbara was a devoted member of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church. Chapel services by Ashby Funeral Home will be 10 a.m. Wednesday with Bro. Carl Higgs officiating. Private graveside services will follow. Visitation will be Tuesday at Ashby Funeral Home, 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bethel Missionary Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O.
