Michael David "Chuck" Dumas, 68, of North Little Rock passed away July 9, 2015. He was born December 12, 1946 in East St. Louis, Illinois. He was a member of Faith Missionary Baptist Church in Cabot and was a Vietnam Veteran who retired after 24 years of active military service with the U.S. Marine Corps and the U.S. Army. Chuck has spent his retirement traveling and enjoying our beautiful country riding over 98,000 miles on his motorcycle with Pat, his faithful wife and side-kick. He also savored the companionship of his sweet dog, Sadie. Chuck is survived by his wife Pat Dumas, his children Miki Crotts and Wess Dumas (Emily); his grandchildren David Crotts (Lisa), Andrew Massey, Jace and Brett Dumas; his great-granddaughter, Zoey Paige Crotts; his brother Donovan Dumas (Carolyn) and his sister Kathleen Skrivan (Mick). He is preceded in death by his parents, Amos Clay Dumas and Jeanette LaTurno Hoepfinger (Harold); and his beloved granddaughter, Sara Paige Crotts. According to his wishes, a memorial service will be held at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock on Thursday, July 16 at 10 a.m. and at a later date, his remains will be scattered during a private family service in Dupo, Ill.
