Billy Ray Sullivan, 50 of Bauxite, passed away July 15, 2015. He was born September 19, 1964 in Little Rock to Robert and Maxine Collins Sullivan. Billy was preceded in death by his father, Robert Sullivan and father-in-law, Homer Witt. Although quiet, Billy was a gentle giant to all who came across his path. To quote his wife, "Everybody loved Billy". He never had an unkind word for anyone. Once you became his friend, he would always remain your true friend. As a youth, baseball was his game, but as an adult, he became a championship bowler. Billy worked for Fed Ex for 18 years, later becoming an independent driver for Oakley Trucking Company the past two years. He always chose short routes that would allow him to be at home with his family, who were always first and foremost in his life. Billy was a member of the Otter Creek Assembly of God Church in Little Rock. He is survived by his wife, Monica Sullivan of Bauxite, daughter, Katie Sullivan of Bauxite, mother, Maxine Sullivan of Little Rock, sisters, Patricia (Bobby) Smith of Cabot, Nancy (Neil) Andrews of Cabot, mother in law, Pat Witt of Bauxite, sister-in-law, Janie (Matt) Moorehead, niece, Amy and nephew, Mitchell, cousin, Sharon Meredith, and nieces, Kimber Wilson and Stephanie Parker, numerous relatives and friends. A visitation will be held on Saturday, 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. July 18th at Ashby Funeral Home with cremation to follow. On line guest book at www.ashbyfuneralhome.com.
