Rose Marie Wood

Rose Marie Wood, 71, of Bella Vista passed away on July 20, 2015. She was born to Harry and Claudia Beatty July 6, 1944 in Nebraska City, Nebraska. Rose Marie enjoyed managing family traditions while keeping the "coast-to-coast" family in close contact. She was an avid reader, enjoyed cooking and collecting recipes. She welcomed a good political and current event discussion and debate. She was preceded in death by her parents and one daughter Jeanne Marie Sanders. Rose is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, Gary Wood, of Bella Vista, Arkansas; her three children, Annette Sanders Nelson of Clinton, Missouri, Janie M. Arababraghi of Fairfield, California, and Michael Sean Blakemore of Kansas City, Missouri, two step-daughters, Christine R. Ferguson of Independence, Missouri, Kimberly M. Carter of Grand Valley, Missouri; a brother, James Michael Beatty of Kansas City, Missouri; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren and seven step-grandchildren. A memorial gathering of family and friends will be held at the Bella Vista Funeral Home, at 2258 Forest Hills Blvd., Bella Vista, Arkansas from 2-3 p.m., Sunday July 26, 2015.
