Bobby L. McElroy

Bobby L. McElroy, 72, of Benton, went to his heavenly home on July 23, 2015. He was born July 23, 1943 in Cotton Plant, Arkansas to the late William Franklin and Kathleen Blaylock McElroy. Bobby was the founder of Arkansas Marble and Granite. He was the Senior pastor of the Apostolic Christian Center in Benton. His ministry and family was his life. He was preceded in death by his parents. Bobby is survived by his wife, Ruth McElroy of Benton, sons, Glenn (Carol) McElroy of Alexander, Scott (Renae) McElroy of Benton, daughters, Paula (Gary) Jordan of Bauxite, Kristy (Albert) Webb of Little Rock, 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Church services by Ashby Funeral Home will be 11 a.m. Monday at The Apostolic Christian Center, 20121 I-30, Benton, Arkansas with Rev. Scott McElroy officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Cemetery in Alexander. Visitation will be 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. at Apostolic Christian Center in Benton on Sunday, July 26, 2015.
