JOHN WESLEY COOPER SR. departed this life peacefully on Thursday July 23, 2015 in N.L.R., Ark. at the age of 71. He was born Aug. 27, 1943. John is survived by his wife Mattie; children, Karen Shelton, Andrew and Karron Shelton, Eric and Keitha Shelton, James Shelton, John and Teresa Cooper, Jessie and Deryl Walker; sibling Sammie Tyeska of Hot Spings; 17 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren He is preceded in death by mother and father Jessie and Willie Tyeska; daughters, Teresa and Adrian. John was a generous, kind soft spoken man who loved to fish and to spend time with his family. He was an active and dedicated member of the St Mark Baptist Church. A funeral is scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday July 31 at St Mark on Old Jacksonville HWY in N.L.R., the wake will be held 6 p.m. Thursday July 30 at Premier Funeral home located 1518 S Battery St little Rock, Ark. 72202.
