John Thomas Jones

John Thomas Jones, 91, of Bentonville passed away Wednesday, June 3 at Circle of Life Legacy Village in Bentonville. He was born March 11, 1924 in Nola, Arkansas to John W and Ruth Robinson Jones. John was a 20 year Army veteran and worked for Standard Register. He was a loving father and grandfather. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved spending time with his family. He was a faithful member of Robinson Avenue Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Etta Faye Jones, one daughter, Patti Brigman, one brother, Loyd Jones and three sisters, Lessie Garner, Marie Lile and Oneta Love. Survivors include two sons, Jay Jones and wife Melanie of Cave Springs and Bill Jones of Fort Smith and four grandchildren. Funeral services will be Saturday, June 6, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale with Keith Kilmer officiating. Burial will follow in Bluff Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale.
