Ruth E. (Casey) Rambo, 90, of Little Rock, Arkansas, died Wednesday, June 3, 2015, at Arkansas Hospice Center. She was born February 23, 1925, in Little Rock, a daughter of the late James Robert and Minnie Lee (Rodgers) Casey. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Earnest Oliver Rambo who died February 13, 1989; and four brothers, Ralph, George, Pat and Claude. Mrs. Rambo was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church for 90 years, where she was a member of the Robert Moore Sunday School Class. She retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone, where she was an operator and assigner, for 41 years. Ruth's children and family remember her as a good, gentle woman. Surviving her are sons, Earnest O. Rambo, Jr. and wife, Kathy, of St. Louis, Missouri; James Casey Rambo of Little Rock, Arkansas; daughter, Jenny Lee (Rambo) Maulding and husband, Larry of Puyallup, Washington; a brother, Sam Casey of Van Buren, Arkansas; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren, and a number of nephews and nieces. Visitation will be 2 p.m. until 4 p.m., Sunday, June 7, 2015, at the funeral home. Funeral Service will be 2 p.m., Monday, in the chapel of Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth, with Reverend Joe Wilkerson and Reverend David Moore officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Crest Memorial Park, with Dale Sharp, Anthony Fulgham, John Murphy, Steve Metzler, Steven Metzler and David Pounders serving as pallbearers, and Steve Allen and Jonathan Pounders will be honorary pallbearers.
