Dorothy Mae Greenwood McDaniel

DOROTHY MAE GREENWOOD MCDANIEL of Little Rock, Ark., transitioned to her heavenly home on Wednesday, June 10, 2015. She was a faithful member of the 34th Street Missionary Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, Earsie Greenwood Sr. and Hattie Aaron; husband, Deacon Norah McDaniel Sr.; brother, Earsie Greenwood Jr.; and one great-grandson, Devonte McDaniel. Survivors include: two daughters, Sandra Faye Johnson and Karen McDaniel White; seven sons, Danny Sr., Terry (Marla), Norah Jr., William (Betty), Stanley Darrell Sr. (Linda), Bruce Sr. (Shirley); one brother, Johnnie Greenwood; three sisters, Josephine Smith, Ellawee Greenwood and Betty Allen; 34 grandchildren; 65 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Family hour will be Thursday, June 18, 2015, 6 to 7 p.m., at Ruffin & Jarrett Funeral Home, 1200 Chester Street, Little Rock, Ark. (501) 372-1305. Funeral services will be Friday, June 19, 2015, at 11 a.m., at Greater Second Baptist Church, 5616 Geyer Springs Road, Little Rock, Ark. Interment will follow at Haven of Rest Cemetery.
