Christopher Colin Wood, 26, of Acworth, Ga., formerly of Little Rock, Ark., passed away Sunday June 21, 2015 after a heroic battle with a seizure disorder. Services will be held 3 p.m., Thursday at Woodstock Funeral Home in Woodstock, Ga. with Rev. Randy Brooks officiating. Family will receive friends 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Colin was born in Huntsville, Ala., and attended Little Rock Catholic High. Colin enjoyed attending Vintage 242 Church in Dallas, Ga. He worked for Synergy Strategic Solutions installing and maintaining high speed wireless networks. He was revitalized by his work. He played the harmonica and guitar and loved playing music. Loyal friend, son, grandson, nephew, and cousin; he will be sorely missed. Survivors include his mother and father, Kristen and Samuel Wood of Acworth; three brothers, Samuel Alex Wood, Jacob Wood, and Ryan Wood; Aunt Shauna Krohn and her husband, Bruce of Acworth; two uncles, Steven Wood and his wife to be Jenn Brown of Acworth, Robert Jay Brearley and his wife Cindy of Florence, Ala.; four grandparents, Sharon Wood of Acworth, Daniel Wood and his wife Geri of Warrenville, Ill., Carol Ikerman and her husband Jim of Acworth; one great grandmother, Mable Brock of Jonesboro, Ark.; a multitude of loving cousins and many friends. He was preceded in death by Grandfather Robert Brearley, Uncle James Wesley Emmett, and Aunt Stephanie Wood.
