Doyle Frederick "Fred"` Hill

Doyle Frederick "Fred" Hill of Rogers died after a lengthy illness on Monday, June 22, 2015. He was born in Martinez, California, to Freeman and Mary Altha Michaels Hill on January 2, 1936. Fred graduated high school in Mulhall, Oklahoma, served in the U.S. Navy, and graduated with an MBA from Oklahoma State University. He was the business administrator for an Oklahoma state mental hospital, a statistical cost analyst for North American Rockwell on the Apollo moon project, a business owner and electrical supply salesman, an avid fisherman and fan of all OSU sports. Until he became ill, he was an active member of Grace United Methodist Church in Rogers, Arkansas. Fred was a loving and loved husband, father, grandfather and friend. He is survived by Becky, his wife of 46 years, his daughter and her husband, Teresa and David Townsend, his son and his wife, Michael Freeman and Shelly Hill, granddaughter Kaylin Layne Townsend and grandson, Riley Wayne Townsend. Fred was preceded in death by his parents and an infant sister, Ellen. A memorial service is planned later this summer. Memorials may be made to Grace United Methodist Church, 1801 S. Dixieland Road, Rogers, Arkansas 72758. The family wishes to thank the staff at Shiloh Nursing and Rehab in Springdale for the wonderful care they gave Fred.
