Norma Faye Tate

Norma Faye Tate went to be with the Lord on June 21, 2015. She was born June 7, 1929 in Moro, Ark. to Slaughter and Ida Mae Guynes. She was preceded in death by her husband R.C. Tate and her brother Buddy Guynes (Verma) Conway, Ark. She has three sisters, Jenny O'Neill (Joe-deceased), Dallas, Texas, Thelma Kelley (Billy) Oklahoma City, Okla. and Betty Whitworth (Ronnie-deceased) Marianna. She was a loving mother to her sons Michael (Melinda) Naples, Fla. and Richard (Donna) Little Rock; one granddaughter, Sonja Tate of Augusta, Ga. Also four step-grandchildren and four great-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. She was a devoted Christian who loved the Lord, attending church and singing hymns. She will be missed by many. Special thanks to the nurses, CNA's and staff of Valley Ranch Nursing and Rehab of Little Rock for their kind and loving care. Memorial Service July 11, 2015, 10 a.m. at Temple Baptist Church in Searcy, Ark.
