Anne Lyttle Dopson

Anne Lyttle Dopson, 82, of Lilburn, Georgia, died June 25, 2015 at Emory Hospital. She was born October 30, 1932 in Russellville, Ark., the daughter of James M. & Alma O. (Armstrong) Lyttle. From 1977-1981, she ran the family sandwich shop, Munchies, in El Dorado, Ark. In 1981 she moved to Lilburn, Ga., and worked with her husband Dop in their business National Paramed for 12 years. Anne married Deward Dopson on July 3, 1951 in Russellville, Ark., and they shared 64 years of marriage. They were active members of Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church since 1993. Anne is survived by one son, Mark Dopson, his wife Kim, and their son Ethan (grandson) of Snellville, Ga.; grandson Jason Dopson, his wife Theresa, and their children Bryce (great grandson) and Hailey (great granddaughter) of Grayson, Ga.; and granddaughter Leigh Dopson Hill and her husband Daniel (Lawrenceville, Ga.). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces/nephews, and great-great nieces/nephews. In additional to her parents, she was preceded in death by five brothers and one sister, son Dennis, and grandson Tyler (Mark & Kim). The Funeral Service to Honor the Life of Anne Lyttle Dopson will be held Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at 10 a.m. at Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church, 1400 Killian Hill Rd, SW, Lilburn, GA 30042. Serving as Pallbearers are Jason Dopson, Ethan Dopson, Daniel Hill, Danny Norris, Lance Poole and Vince Lloyd. All Former Players and Arkansas Tech Alumni and friends will serve as Honorary Pallbearers. Burial will follow at Gwinnett Memorial Park, Lawrenceville, Ga. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Tom M. Wages, Snellville Chapel.
