J.W. McGinnis

J.W. McGinnis, 84, of Benton passed away on Sunday, March 1st. Born in Swifton, Ark. to Homer and Pearl McGinnis. He is predeceased by his parents, brother Jim McGinnis, sister, Ina Felsman and daughter, Karen Bustemante. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 15 years, Susan McGinnis, sons, James (Janie) McGowan and Mark (Judy) Iverson, step-sons, Danny Yount, Jr. and David Yount, brothers, Paul McGInnis (Marcy) and George McGinnis along with 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. He was loved by his family and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. J.W. was a member of the Assembly of God Church, was life-long hunter & fisherman and had a passion for truck farming. A visitation will be held on Friday, March 6 at 12:30 p.m. at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home, 7724 Landers Road, North Little Rock followed by a graveside service at 1:30 p.m. at Rest Hills Memorial Park. www.griffinleggettresthills.com.
