Peggy Vizzier Trites

Peggy Vizzier Trites, age 83, died March 5, 2015. She was born September 4, 1931 to John and Ruth Bradley Vizzier. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Maurice L. Trites, Sr.; brothers Carroll Vizzier and Douglas Vizzier. Survivors include two sons, Maurice L. Trites, Jr. and wife Betty, John William Trites and wife Kathy, and three granddaughters Abby Trites Staton and husband Brandon of DeWitt, Meg Trites and Alex Trites of Gillett. She was an active member of the Gillett United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, and the Dorcas Quilters. Peggy was an avid seamstress and enjoyed working in her yard. Memorials may be made to Gillett United Methodist Church Kitchen Fund or Community Food Pantry, P.O. Box 88 Gillett, Ark. 72055. A celebration of her life will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 8, 2015, at the Gillett United Methodist Church with burial at Gillett Cemetery by Essex Funeral Home. Pallbearers are Dale Reed, Dennis Dixon, Scott Place, Monty Young, Charles Reed, and Sammie Whiting.
