Joyce Morris

Joyce H. Morris, 81, of Benton, Arkansas, passed away on March 8, 2015. She was born December 16, 1933, to the late Phillip and Nettie Harris. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 60 years, Alfred M. Morris, and worked in an insurance agency with him for 40 years in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. She is also preceded in death by her sister, Kathleen White. She is survived by three sons; Al Morris Jr. (wife Lisa) of Stuttgart, Arkansas, Daniel Morris of Crawford, Texas, and Bradley Morris of Little Rock, Arkansas; a brother, Phillip Harris, of Benton, Arkansas; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was a member of North Bryant Baptist Church in Bryant, Arkansas. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 10, 2015, at Griffin Leggett Forest Hills Funeral Home, 10200 Hwy. 5 N., Alexander, Arkansas. Graveside services will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, on Wednesday, March 11, 2015, at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor Matt Thornton officiating. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials to the building fund of North Bryant Baptist Church, P.O. Box 896, Bryant, Arkansas, 72089-0896. The family would like to thank the staff and all the wonderful caregivers at Saline Memorial Hospital Hospice House for the loving care they provided during this difficult time.
