John Harris

John Robert Harris, 82, of North Little Rock passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2015. He retired from Safeway after 29 years. John loved fishing and was a member of Cornerstone Pentecostal Church. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Jewell DuVall Harris; four sons, Johnny Harris, Garland and Wendy Harris, Robert Harris and Donald and Tonya Harris; ten grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; brothers, Charlie and Glenda Harris and Billy Don Harris. He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Ivy Baker Harris; step-mother, Edna Harris; one brother; and four sisters. Memorials may be made to Cornerstone Pentecostal Church, 301 Campbell Road, North Little Rock, Arkansas 72117. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Cornerstone Pentecostal Church. Burial will be at 2:00 p.m. in St Joe Cemetery, Atkins, Arkansas. The Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home.
