Gene L. Burks

Gene L. Burks, 75, of Little Rock passed away Wednesday, March 11th. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Gene was a heavy equipment operator. Born in Idaho Falls, Idaho to parents Elmer and Mildred Burks, he is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Ron Burks and infant son, Gene L. Burks Jr. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Carolyn, daughters, Tamera Jean (Paul) Brinson and Gina Marie (Gary) Thompson, five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, brothers, Jim and Don Burks and sister, Norma Davis along with many nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 15th from 3-5 p.m. at Forest Hills Funeral Home, 10200 Hwy. 5, Alexander.
