Nora Mae Doyle Stevens Stephens of North Little Rock passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at the age of 99. She was born September 7, 1915 in Ogemaw, Arkansas, to Virgil and Carrie Doyle. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Sol Edward Stevens, husband, John Utley Stephens, two brothers, Harold Doyle and Floyd Doyle, and sister, Florence Doyle Sadler. Nora Mae was a bookkeeper for Thibault Milling Company, Coger Warehouse and Niemeyer Grain Company. She was a longtime member of Park Hill Baptist Church where she had many friends. She was an active member of AARP and Daughters of the Confederacy. Nora Mae was an avid sports fan and loved watching the Razorbacks play. She enjoyed playing cards and dominos and was a collector of coins and stamps. She is survived by her son, Mark Stevens of North Little Rock; two stepsons, John R. "Bob" Stephens (Renee) of North Little Rock and Ronald E. Stephens (Carol) of North Little Rock; three step-grandchildren, Michael Stephens (Stephanie), Kyle Stephens (Brandy) and Nikki Stephens. She will also be missed by several nieces and nephews. A special thank you to the wonderful staff and caregivers of Briarwood Nursing and Rehab. Viewing will be Friday from 1 to 6 p.m. at Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth, 5800 West 12th Street, Little Rock. Graveside services will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Carlisle Cemetery in Carlisle with Rev.
