Charles Dwayne Murphy

Charles Dwayne Murphy, 73, of Mulberry, Ark., formerly of Aurora, Ark., died March 12, 2015 at Sparks Regional Medical Center in Fort Smith, Ark. He was born November 25, 1941 at Aurora, Ark., the son of Claud and Ova Lee Jackson Murphy. He was a member of the Church of Christ and was preceded in death by two sisters, Stella Marie Daniels and an infant. Survivors include: one brother, James E. Murphy of Portage, Ind.; several nephews and nieces; and his Mulberry Lodge Retirement Center family. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, March 16 in the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home with Pat Mannon, Minister officiating. Interment will be in the Aurora Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home, www.brashearsfuneralhome.net, of Huntsville, Ark. Pallbearers will be Tony Frazier, Scott Crittenden, Johnny Crittenden, Dwayne Hill, Terry Evans, and Luther Thomas. Honorary pallbearers will be Rawleigh Hill and John Crittenden.
