Dana L. Powell

DANA L. POWELL, age 51, of Sherwood, passed away March 14, 2015 at Arkansas Hospice. She was born Feb. 16, 1964 in North Little Rock, Ark. and she was the daughter of William "Bill" and Janiece McDorman. Dana was a nurse for Methodist Behavioral Hospital for 15 years. She was a member of Sylvan Hills Church of Christ and enjoyed reading, computers, video games and cats. She is preceded in death by her father, Bill McDorman. Survivors include her husband, Doug Powell; her mother, Janiece McDorman; a brother, Keith McDorman; a niece, Sarah McDorman; and a nephew, Anthony McDorman. Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at Huson Funeral Home Chapel in Sherwood with burial following at Harmony Cemetery in Mayflower, Arkansas.
