Johnnie Ann DuPriest

JOHNNIE ANN DUPRIEST, a member of Hopewell Baptist Church in Canton, Ga., was born in North Little Rock, Ark. on Dec. 5, 1932, the daughter of John Phillip Mack and Anna Lou Heslep Mack. Mrs. DuPriest died on March 11, 2015, in Marietta, Ga., following a major stroke. She is predeceased in death by her parents; her brother, James Phillip "Buddy" Mack; and her husband, Thomas E. DuPriest. Mrs. DuPriest was 82 years old, having lived a long, fruitful and productive life and leaving behind myriad family and dear friends. She is survived by her three children, John Fowlkes and his wife, Sue, of Little Rock, Ark., Ruth Ann Ludden and her husband, Mike, of Marietta, Ga., and Lisa Toney and her husband, Dewayne, of Waleska, Ga.; and her sister-in-law, Nancy Mack, of Damascus, AR. Mrs. DuPriest is survived by 12 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and six nieces and nephews. Funeral Arrangements: Saturday, March 14, 2015, at Sosbee Funeral Home in Canton, Ga. with visitation beginning at noon and the service at 2 p.m. Graveside Service and Burial: Monday, March 16, 2015, at 1 p.m. at Rest Hills Memorial Park in North Little Rock, Ark. under the direction of Roller-Owens Funeral Home (501-791-7400). Following the service, all family and friends are invited to gather at Burns Park in North Little Rock, Ark., near the Rocket Slide, for a picnic and celebration of a life well lived.
