Marion L. (Mulkey) Henson

Marion L. (Mulkey) Henson, of Bryant, Ark., died Thursday March 12, 2015 at DeSoto, Mo., following a lengthy illness. Mrs. Henson retired from Kroger Grocery Company after more than 32 years as a cashier in various stores throughout Little Rock, Ark., where she was always such a favorite that customers would willingly wait in line to have her check them out. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Bryant, Ark. Marion was preceded in death by her husband, Ross E. Henson of Bryant and one son, David Henson of Little Rock. Mrs. Henson is survived by a son, Stephen M. Henson, Sr of De Soto, Mo. and his wife, Kay; by David's widow, Diana; a brother, Rev. Louis Mulkey and his wife, Barbara; grandchildren: Cory Henson of St. Louis, Mo., S. Michael Henson, II of Pevely, Mo., Jeff Henson and Ken Henson, both of Little Rock, Ark.; three great- grandsons; and a great-great- grandson. Funeral services will be held at Griffin Leggett-Forest Hills Funeral Home in Alexander, Mo., and she will be interred at Forest Hills Memorial Park next to Ross, her husband of many years.
