Merlyn Ray "Mickey" Washburn

Merlyn Ray "Mickey" Washburn, 76, of Hughes, Ark. passed away March 20, 2015. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Janie Washburn and one brother, Robert N. Washburn. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Juanita Washburn; two sons: Tim Washburn and his wife, Julie; Mikel Washburn and his wife, Karrie, both of Springdale, Ark.; one daughter, Joni Pierce and her husband, James of Jonesboro, Ark.; eight grandchildren: Laura, Nathan, and Ross Washburn; Matthew and Erica Pierce; Aaron, Faith, and Britni Washburn; and one sister, Joanne Bragg of Rogers, Ark. Visitation will be on Monday, from 12 to 1 p.m. at the Hughes First Baptist Church. Services will follow at 1 p.m. with interment afterwards at Pierce Cemetery at 4 p.m. in Jonesboro, Ark.
