Shirley Marie Fondren

Shirley Marie Fondren, 72, of Cabot died Tuesday, March 24, 2015.She was born September 17, 1942 in Gillett to the late Thomas J. and Nora Richardson Strode. Mrs. Fondren was a faithful and active member of Our Savior Lutheran Church with an incredible love for people, especially children. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was retired from GTE and a tireless volunteer at St. Scholastica Monastery. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Fondren was preceded in death by the father of her children, John Robnett. Mrs. Fondren is survived by her sons; Randy Robnett and his wife, Dawn, of Houston and Danny Robnett and his wife, Mary, of Benton, two brothers; Thomas and Joe Strode, two sisters; Donna Chesanek and Joyce Woodson, her grandchildren; Amanda Cleveland (John), Shawn Robnett (Julianne), Brenden Robnett and Noah Robnett, and great-grandchildren; Haven, Hailey, John Luke, Harley and Adelaide. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 27, 2015 at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home (501) 843-5816. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Our Savior Lutheran Church with Pastor Daniel McDougall officiating.
