Jason Henthorne

Richard Jason Henthorne, age 42, of Bauxite, passed away Thursday, March 26, 2015. He was born July 2, 1972 in Benton, Arkansas. Jason was a member of the very first Mighty Beaver Band at Glen Rose High School and proudly marched with a baritone saxophone. He was a member of West Bauxite Missionary Baptist Church and worked in the family business at Henthorne Tax Service. Jason was preceded in death by his grandparents, Freddie and Audry Henthorne & Huey Sadler and his uncle, Jerry Henthorne. He is survived by his wife, Amber White Henthorne; son, Hunter Henthorne; daughter, Layla Belle Henthorne all of Bauxite; his parents, Terry and Wanda Henthorne of Benton; grandmother, Arrita Sadler of Bauxite; sister, Joy Henthorne of Benton; his in-laws, Wayne and Helen White of Benton; sister-in-law, Meleah Boyett (Chris) of Heber Springs; nephews, Adam Brewer of Benton, Brunson Boyett and Bennett Boyett; niece, Bethany Boyett all of Heber Springs; great-nephews, Layne and A.J. Brewer and a host of cousins, aunts, uncles and friends who will cherish his memory forever. Pallbearers will be Jerred George, Gary Blacklaw, Phil Davis, Matt Penix, Clark Henthorne, Bill Pearson and Adam Brewer. Visitation will be 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, March 29 at Ashby Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 30 at West Bauxite Missionary Baptist Church with burial at James Cemetery. Bro. Melvin Burris will be officiating.
