Tandy Harrell Moss, 69, of Greenbrier, went home to be with the Lord Jesus on March 25, 2015; his courageous battle with pancreatic cancer complete. Tan was beloved by all and will be greatly missed. He was a devoted and loving husband to his dear wife, Kay Merritt Moss. He was a wonderful father to his son, Troy Allen Moss; daughter, Brandy Lynn Moss; step-son, Jeffrey Jack Harmon; and guardian of Steven Nickell. He dearly loved his grandchildren, Tandee Izabella Moss, Emmy Rose Kindler, Colton Merritt Harmon, Addison Susannah Harmon and Mikayla Blysse Harmon. Tan loved Sonny Anderson as a brother. Also deeply beloved by Tan are Susan Harmon, Mary Lewing, Ruth Marie Lawrence and prayer partner, Barbara Johnson. Tan was born July 28, 1945 in Franklin, Tenn. He lived in MI, OH and CO before coming to AR. He was a master builder and astute businessman. He had a successful career with Micro Motion as a Fluid Dynamics Engineer. Tan had many interests in life: old cars, the outdoors, sports, music, education, inventing and all forms of building and handiwork. Tan's integrity, ethic and commanding reputation preceded him. All who knew him loved and respected him. He made you feel stronger and wiser by just being around him. A true "Man's Man", he made a difference for the better everywhere he went. Tan's quick wit, impeccable advice and vast knowledge will never fade from our memories. Tan was preceded in death by mother, Emma Florence Moss (Tallant); father, William Levi Moss; and sister, Marjorie Pauline Connell. He is survived by his brothers, Wendell Lee Moss and William Todd Moss (Carol); sisters, Carolyn Marie Krona (Dave) and Georgia Neal Viechnicki (Dr. Bruce); uncle, John Benton Moss (Lynn); 12 nieces and nephews; and five great nieces and nephews. Very special to Tan during his battle with cancer was Dr. Tsuda and staff, the doctors and nurses at Conway Regional Hospital and the brief care from Hospice Home Health Care. The entire Moss family are humbled and thankful to the community of Greenbrier, churches local and nationwide, family and friends for your outpouring of prayers, compassion and support. Memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, March 31, 2015, at Greenbrier Church of the Nazarene.
